DESCRIPTION
Automatic machine able to combine
two packs of pasta, coffee, rice etc… through the application
of two strips of adhesive tape on each side. It is possible
to use either transparent or printed tape, in this last case
one can centre the printing on one or both side of the packs.
The product enter into the machine in a continuos motion, vertically
positioned with the front part on the narrow side. At the infeed
of the machine, they are stopped by a pneumatically operated
brake group which divides the packs to its original shape, soon
after this operation some pneumatic devices apply the tapes
on both sides.
The adhesive tapes are automatically cut according to the pre-set
number of packs (two or more).
The coils of adhesive tape are fixed beside the machine and
are provided with a control device which at the beginning, shows
the operator that the tape is going to run out, and then stops
the machine when one of the two coils has run out. This indication
is given by a warning light on the top of the machine.
The machine, which is made of a steel construction, painted
with poliurethane anti-scratch paint, is manufactured according
to the CEE regulations for the prevention of accidents.
